1,000 Kilometres of pistes at affordable family prices

One of Austria's largest and most popular ski regions is that of the Kitzbühel Alps with 1,000 kilometres of pistes. In the awarded world's best ski area, all your dreams in white are fulfilled with: sporting carvers, snowboard and Freeride-Fans, but equally as much fun and enjoyment for pleasure skiers and families.

The long natural toboggan run, often floodlit til midnight, provides lots of fun for children and adults. Away from the pistes there are still lots of activities available for families eg. the Husky ranch, organised horse-drawn carriage rides and even a variety of sport and musical events.

Tip - we have the best ski huts: enjoy a "Jagatee" to warm up beside a cosy tiled oven, a few hearty "Speckknödel" (bacon dumplings) or a "Kaiserschmarrn" (chunky bites of pancake dusted with icing sugar) in the comfortable "Stube" - stop-offs and good food are simply a part of skiing! There is a total of 254 ski huts dotted across the Kitzbühel Alps, one of the largest ski regions in the Alps. The choice is not easy!
